To save lives and safeguard communities from active shooter and armed intruder emergencies.

Our Purpose

To build, support and manage the Hero911® Network, a national volunteer organization of federal, state, and local law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMS. Specifically, the Hero911 Network will help protect children and adults against the horrific violence in active shooter and armed intruder incidents. We accomplish this through the Hero911 app, a constant stream of communication, updating first responders around the country on a moment’s notice when active shooting emergencies have been reported, and through the management of our 24/7/365 emergency alert infrastructure.

Our Objectives

  • Create a proactive volunteer network of first responders who are willing to help safeguard communities.
  • Reduce the notification time and subsequent response time to active shooter and armed intruder emergencies.
  • Improve school and workplace safety through enhanced technology and communications.
  • Increase awareness through education of our country’s #1 domestic act of terrorism: the active shooter.
  • Expand relationships between first responders and active shooter targets.
  • Increase the initial number of first responders to these emergencies.
  • Provide financial support to families of fallen first responders, and training equipment and classes to first responders.
